I didn’t buy into yoga when first introduced by friends. My background in flexibility is from self-taught contortion since 2016 and my love for bending in weird, satisfying ways. It took a life crisis in 2017 for me to give yoga another chance. Ever since then, I’ve completely fallen in love with it.
Yoga is a mindful lifestyle practice, which has been a vital vehicle of transformation for my mental and physical health. It is a form of movement and self-expression that allows the individual to find clarity and align the body, mind, and heart. I love how yoga is for everybody and can transform an individual into a happier and healthier person no matter what level you are.
Traveling to Guatemala, I received my 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga teacher certification at Doron Yoga and have an athletic background with 10 years in tennis, 3 years in Taekwondo, dance and aerial sports, and 2 years in contortion. My three pillars are core, strength, and flexibility- all of which go hand in hand.
