Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years. The practice inspires my free spirit and rejoices my inner self leaving me stronger, happier, and playful. Yoga helps me live life with more love, purpose, clarity, and gratitude amid challenges in life.
Going through the daily turbulence of raising my two teen boys, I observed that turning my attention inward when emotions arose, allowed me to slow down rather than react to situations. I grew up to be a better version of myself because of yoga. And then I wondered what it would be like if I specialized in yoga training? I would be better able to handle my boys’ lives and help other kids. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at Yoga @ Cindy’s, Sunnyvale, and specialized in training for young kids at RISE yoga, SF.
Drawing on my love for kids, I enjoy focusing on yoga-based movement, breathwork, and mindfulness programs. I teach through music, games, gentle poses, stories, promoting how to love, and not compare with others, giving them the space they need to grow. The goal is to promote a nurturing environment with each child leaving the class with a smile.
