Originally from South Texas, Molly began her yoga journey in 2010 as a Yogino with Elizabeth “Beth” Reese, Ph.D., E-RYT, RCYT, the founder and executive director of Yogiños: Yoga for Youth® (YYY). She participated in two instructional kids’ yoga DVDs led by Dr. Reese. Being only 12 years old, she found her passion for this practice very young. Molly has also been dancing since she was three and was a company member of Corpus Christi Concert Ballet for six years. Her love for movement and physical expression has drawn her back to yoga in recent years and has been a pivotal practice in her life as an injury prevention and rehabilitating practice. She completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi in December 2017 with Michelle Acebo (Uma Devi). She continued her study of yoga and completed a 50-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training at Yoga Tree San Francisco with Pete Guinosso during the summer of 2018. She currently is a sophomore at Santa Clara University studying Religious Studies. She hopes to bring her students a sense of liberation in her classes by cultivating compassion, self-love, and gratefulness, both on and off the mat. She hopes you can come join her in a powerful and soothing flow class!
