Lynn began her yoga practice in 2014 after beginning her career as a ICU nurse as the stress of taking care of sick and dying patients began taking a toll on her mind and body. Through the healing nature of yoga and simply finding her breath in the practice, she began a journey that would lead to completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training on the island of Maui with Chakra Yoga Training in 2020.
She is beyond is excited to share with others the beauty that yoga has to offer through the simple act of breathing and moving, how it allows a path to knowing your own mind and how it guides us towards compassion for and connection with others. She encourages people in their practice to listen to the intuitive nature of their body, believing that yoga is for people of all backgrounds with all body types. She guides people in a safe and supportive environment that leads to an inner peace that her students can bring into the busy and chaotic nature of life.
Lynn’s classes will be a balanced vinyasa class that combines the grounding nature of the breath with the powerful flow of the body. Each class will focus on allowing the breath to lead an energetic and creative sequence in an authentic, non-judgmental environment. Modifications and adjustments will be given to encourage a safe practice at all levels. You will leave feeling refreshed, balanced and at peace so you can take that energy and share it off of the mat and in your daily life.
