Jason Hemp is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. A yoga practitioner for over 25 years, he recently completed his 200hr certification through the Joy of Yoga Teacher Training Program with Jennifer Prugh and Noell Clark. This experience has deepened his practice beyond yoga as exercise and has led to self-reflection, practicing mindfulness, undoing old patterns and is learning how to apply the 8 limbs of yoga to his daily life. He draws upon multiple styles of yoga such as Hatha, Iyengar (using props), Ashtanga/Mysore, breath work and meditation.
His philosophy on and off the mat is that yoga can be accessible by anyone. One of Jason’s favorite quotes is from Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
