Eden’s adventurous spirit brought her to her first yoga class in college. She remembers feeling an overwhelming sense of being grounded, relaxed, and calm leaving her first yoga class. The temporary stress relief she felt after her first class kept her going to more classes. She is grateful for the yoga practice helping her manage her stress and anxiety levels in college. Yoga and meditation has helped her feel confident and more grounded in her daily life. Yoga has been a powerful, transformative, and healing tool in Eden’s life. She teaches yoga in order to share the many benefits yoga has given her with others. She hopes to create a comfortable space for people to practice mindfulness, introspection, body-awareness, and self-love.
Eden completed her 200 hour RYT Yoga Alliance training at Mizizi Yoga School where she was mentored by teachers Hana Raftery and Ngugi Kihara. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Geography. Her five years of experience teaching children and adults swim lessons at the YMCA translates well to her yoga teaching. Eden loves learning and trying new things. Her hobbies include: painting, drawing, cooking delicious vegan food, hiking, swimming, surfing, and travel. She once swam from Alcatraz to San Francisco.
